Well, that ridiculous amount of homeopathic and traditional medicine I’ve been using seems to have done the trick. I can barely tell I have a cold, and I’m sure it’ll be history by Sunday. Of course, I can’t know for sure which of the remedies worked, or even whether my own body just took care of it, but I feel about 95% recovered. By the way, in case anyone is wondering, I checked it all out with my doc before bombing myself like that, to make sure all was compatible and nothing was going to cause sleeplessness or an elevated heart rate/blood pressure, and she gave me the green light.
Luckily, this is the taper week, so I have a chance to rest up really well. And in my experience, sometimes when I come back from an illness, I’m even stronger than beforehand. Has anyone else shared this sensation? Is there any physiological reason for it? Like, good immunity warriors of some kind circulating like crazy in your bloodstream after a cold?
